One of Galicia's most peculiar crustaceans, Hermit Crabs live alone inside empty cave-like shells (hence the name "Hermit Crab", by analogy to a hermit who lives alone). Just like the old hermits who lived at the remote isle of San Miguel da Coelleira, one of the four Celtic island-monasteries named after St Michael.
