State Flag of Galicia

Often referred to as government flags, a state flag is a variant of a national flag specifically designated to use by a country's government or its agencies. The state flag of Galicia features the coat of arms of Galicia over the national flag. As per Law 5/1984 of the Symbols of Galicia, Article 2.2, "The flag of Galicia shall have the official Coat of Arms when displayed on public buildings and institutional events in Galicia".
