O Couto Mixto was a Galician microstate that existed from the Middle Ages until 1868.
It was located on today's County Limia, on the border between Galicia and Portugal. At the time it was a Galician equivalent of a Monaco, San Marino or a Liechtenstein.
O Couto Mixto's flag was, according to a 1907 local history written by former chief minister Mr Delfin Brandon, a vertical bicolour of white and blue.
